A Suprise for the Kids

Today we told the kids that we are going to Disney World!!  I can't wait I've made it well into adulthood and never been anywhere near the place.  So I'm pretty freaking excited too!! I did video their reaction but I have yet to figure out how to post that to here.....yes, mom, I'll work on that.  However, I did get a few photos.  Bee was the only one who wasn't that happy about the surprise.  She just doesn't like people in costumes, especially ones that have big headed masks on them.

So we started off by telling them that we had something very serious to talk about.  E asked if the Scout Master had lost his job.  Since that is the way we told them he had been laid off in 2010, it made since that she would remember that.  Thankfully that wasn't the case and he had them watch a few minutes of a documentary about Disney World, it was the intro where they show all the cool things.  Then he handed Ky the reservation confirmation and had him read.

Them just before watching the film.

After they realized we were going to Disney.
Ky had to read the "you have successfully booked
your trip" sentence twice.

And then we told them when we would be there and they went CRAZY!!

This was the best though!! Ky bounded up off the couch and jumped right onto the Scout Master for a big hug!  I can't wait. :)

Audrey's Baby Shower

Last night we drove up to my mom's house to spend the night there because today is my sister's baby shower.  More on that in a little bit.  My E has been asking me for about a month to get her hair cut.  I've been putting it off but I promised her that Grandma and I would take her today.  So first thing this morning we took her.  I snapped this picture before things when south on us. She was smiling and happy.  She donated her locks to locks of love.  Things were going fine until the lady got to the last pony tail where she snipped off about and inch and a half more then all the other pony tails which is were I got a little upset.  So it's way shorter then I wanted it.  You can see the after picture below where she's in a picture with Aunt Audrey.  I'll try for a better one later.  I will say this, save yourself the grief and NEVER EVER go to Great Clips (please forgive me if you work at Great Clips) I have never had a good experience or hair cut from there.  EVER, and today I swear will be the very last time I ever take any of our heads of hair to a Great Clips.  I'm still finding long hairs where they shouldn't be.  She wanted to look like the American Girl Doll, Kit.  She seems to like it and when it grows out it will be really cute.

On to my sister's baby shower.  She's been awaiting this day for about 7 years.  It was a Chicago Bears theme and it was very nice.  I think that she really had a good time as well.  My girls had a great time meeting some of their Uncle Jason's nieces and playing with them.

 Here's Audrey and Mom

She E's Hair?

Just after this photo the baby kicked E's hand.
She didn't know what to do, her face was priceless.

This is my gramps isn't he cute?

Aqua Zumba Training

Today was so much fun.  I never thought it would be so much fun. Way back when I got my original Zumba Gold and Basic I didn't really think that I would ever get any of the specialties, last week I was able to get my Toning training, and this week I had the opportunity to get my Aqua Zumba training.  Which brings me back to the begining.....it was so much fun.  I'd never even been to an Aqua Zumba class.  We had a 90 minute class and I thought it was just 20 minutes long. It was a really good work out too. If you would like to see what Aqua Zumba is all about click here

Our ZES name was Kelly Bullard (she's the one in the video). I learned so much and I had a wonderful time learning from her.
I can't wait to teach or at least take some more Aqua Zumba!
