Busy Busy Weekend!

Friday: Rainy

Drop Kyle off at school, come home, work out, clean up, pick up Kyle from school, clean up house. Pack. Wait. Everyone to the potty, drive (two hours in the rain), arrive, drop off kids at Grandma's, wait for hubby, drive, look at houses......and more houses......and more houses. Go out for dinner with my Mr. Amos and had the most heavenly dessert ever!! Was awake all night long!

Just to add a little detail, Kyle fell asleep on the two hour drive he looked so peaceful.....then later and nearer to our destination I looked back and he was still asleep but looked like this (taken after I shook his leg to make sure he was okay).

Apparently, he got a bloody nose in his sleep and unconsciously wiped it all over his face and hands. Miraculously, he didn't get any on his cream colored shirt!!

Saturday: Raining some more.

Looked at more houses.......some a repeat of Friday, some a repeat of months ago, most a repeat for my Mr. Amos. Lunch, walking and thinking, dinner at my sister's (she made Bourbon Chicken, yumm), decisions, decisions. Made an offer on one, missed the movie, drove back to sister's, carried sleeping kids, watched a movie, crashed!!
Here is my Mr. Amos after "signing his life away" and the red folder of doom!
More details here........My brother in law "J" and my sister Audrey are the best in the world.....they watched my two oldest all day long, fixed us breakfast and diner, and let us stay at their house for two nights. Plus, my dear husband lives there during the week. They don't complain and don't ask for much at all. I love them and their kind hearts!! I love you two, we all do!

Sunday: Still Rainy
Kids wake us up. Get ready, yummy breakfast (cooked by my sister), church @ 11:30AM. Find out just after Sunday school that our offer is not accepted (we go to church with our realtor), counter and still not accepted......they want way toooo much for this house!! Are disappointed but might try one more time, go back to sister's, are locked out (Mr. Amos forgot his keys), visit Grandma's potty, and dinner at our realtor's house. Drive, two hours in the rain, arrive home, blog, and am now too tired for much more!!
I hope that your weekend was just as good!
